Mango

By June 26, 2019 No Comments

We love mangoes because they are sweet, filling and of course healthy. It is one of the easiest snacks to make for your baby or toddler. You can start giving you baby mangoes from 6 months in small quantities and increase quantities if your baby doesn’t react to it. Mangoes are not only naturally yummy, they are also packed with nutrients.

Mangoes are a great source of Vitamins A, C and B as well as iron and iron, potassium and protein. They aid in digestion and are rich in beta-carotene which help boost immune levels. I love them because they are naturally sweet and thick enough to feed on a spoon.

If your baby is not a foodie, try giving him/her a meal of mango as breakfast and see how hungry they get afterwards.

One large mango can make about 3 servings.

To add variety to meals, don’t hesitate to add other fruits like bananas or even yogurt, or both.

For Toddlers, just cut mango into small chunks slices and allow them to make a mess with a plastic fork or their fingers 🙂
